Spa Policies

At Foot Palace we strive to provide you with a relaxing atmosphere that allows you to leave your to-do lists and worries at the door to re-center. Please take a moment to review our policies prior to booking. Reviewing these policies will allow you to be prepared so your visit to our Athens spa is total relaxation.

Health Conditions

Foot Palace is not a medical facility, and we will not diagnose or treat any medical conditions including foot or skin related. For the safety of our staff and other guest if you or a household member have a fever of 100 or greater, Covid-19 symptoms, or a communicable illness we ask that you refrain from visiting the spa. If you have a contagious skin condition, you are required to reschedule your appointment until such condition has been fully treated. Contagious conditions include but are not limited to nail fungus, warts, athletes foot, poison ivy, and others. If you have a non-contagious skin condition including but not limited to psoriasis or eczema, we will work with you to try and provide a soothing experience but ask if you feel this condition could be exacerbated by our services or could cause irritation, that you postpone your services until the condition has improved. Prior to the beginning of your service please inform us of any skin or foot related conditions you may have. If our staff discovers a potentially contagious skin or foot condition during service, we reserve the right to immediately stop such service. If you have any skin allergies or intolerances, we ask you to inform our staff prior to the beginning of your service. We reserve the right to call 911 or seek emergency medical services on behalf of a guest if our staff is concerned about guest health.  Foot Palace will not be responsible for any costs or expenses associated with such medical services. Foot Palace reserves the right to refuse service to any guest at any time.

Appointment Policy

We ask that appointments be guaranteed against late cancellation or rescheduling with a major credit card at the time of appointment for 90-120 Min services, parties of 4 or more and at time of appointment confirmation for 30-60 Min services. Please arrive 5-10 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time so that we may start your service on time or even early. All appointments are designed to allow the appropriate time for full enjoyment of your service. Your late arrival may limit our ability to offer full service. Please be aware that late arrivals may not be afforded an extension of scheduled service. Service may be rendered only for the remainder of the scheduled appointment. You will be responsible for payment for the full appointment scheduled

Cancellation Policy

We require a 24-hour notice to cancel or reschedule services without charge. Cancellations after the 24-hour policy will be charged 50% of the service scheduled. “No-shows” will be charged 100% of the service scheduled. If your appointment is not canceled after confirmation within the 24-hour notification period, your appointment is considered confirmed. A valid credit card number is required at the time of booking 90-120 Min services, parties of 4 or more and at time of appointment confirmation for 30-60 Min services. This policy also applies to gift cardholders

Gratuity

Our service prices do not include gratuity. Leaving 18 to 25 percent is customary. Cash tip envelopes are available at the reception desk for your therapist.  Gratuity can be charged on a debit or credit card. Gift Card balances can be redeemed for gratuity. A 20% gratuity fee will apply to groups of 4 or more.

Large Groups or Parties

We can accommodate up to 16 guests at one time.  Reservations for large parties are required two to four weeks in advance to secure your desired time and date. There is a 72-hour cancellation policy for groups of 6 or more—this policy includes cancellations of any guest of the group.

Payment

We accept MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Discover, Apple Pay, cash and Foot Palace Royal gift certificates.

Royal Gift Certificate Policy

Royal Gift Certificates can be purchased at one of our spa locations in any denomination and can be applied towards spa services, gratuity, or merchandise in all Foot Palace spa locations. Certificates partially redeemed are issued a new certificate with an unredeemed balance.  Gift certificate purchases are non-refundable and expire one year from the purchase date with a 30-day expiration grace period.  Expired certificates are honored at 50% of the value within 30 days of the expiration date. After 30 days of the expiration date, Royal Gift Certificates are non-redeemable and will not be honored as payment for services or merchandise.  Lost or stolen certificates will not be reissued without proof of purchase and only for the value shown in Foot Palace records.

Age Requirements

All ages are welcome to receive services.  Only guest who have appointments and are receiving services or accompanying handicapped patrons are allowed in the spa. Minors ages 17 and under must be accompanied by an adult receiving service to receive service. Minors ages 17 and under with are not allowed to be left unattended in the lobby.

Cell Phone

We ask all guest to silence their cell phone before entering the spa to avoid disrupting other guest receiving services as we try to ensure a quiet, relaxing atmosphere for all our guest.

Pets

As pets can benefit from reflexology service, we do not offer this service in our spas. A service animal can accompany you during your appointment, but we must be notified prior to your appointment so we can provide sufficient space to accommodate you. If your service animal becomes disruptive of the spa Foot Palace reserves the right to stop your service.
